There are quite few things to do in the area: Beer and Gin tasting at a local brewery; ice cream tasting; the Donkey Dairy – 20min drive from us; Valley Lodge is 10min away, for a nice relaxing day at the spa and the best treatments; or if you’re a bit adventurous, Bill Harrop’s hot air balloon rides, for the best view possible; an elephant experience at Plumari Reserve; and so much more.
Die Krip Guest Farm has four modern self-catering units, fitted with the finest quality: Two cottages with a queen size bed, a double sleeper couch for 2 kids, and a bath and a shower; and two cottages with 2 three quarter beds and a shower.
Every unit has a porch to relax with your morning coffee or a sundowner. Each cottage has its own safe parking space close to the unit. All our units are fully equipped. Each cottage has a fridge, oven, microwave and toaster with all required cutlery.
There is a swimming pool and a lovely garden with lots of space for kids to run and experience farm life.
Cottages
Cottage 3
This lovely open plan, studio style cottage has two single beds and an open plan kitchen and bathroom with a shower. It has doors leading out to the patio which has a view over the swimming pool.
Cottage 3 is inter-leading to Cottage 4 and can be combined for two couples or a family of up to 6.
Rates: R750 per night for a single person R1 200 per night for two people sharing. R250 per person per night will be charged for additional adults and R150 for additional children.
Cottage 4
Cottage 4 has a double bed with a separate bathroom equipped with a bath and a shower. It has an open plan living room (with sleeper couch for 2 kids) and kitchen leading to a patio overlooking the swimming pool.
Cottage 4 is inter-leading to Cottage 3 and can be combined for two couples or a family of up to 6.

Booking Process
• Minimum stay of 2 nights.
• All bookings under R4 000 are required to pay in full to secure the booking. This includes our security/breakage deposit of R200 per cottage.
• Bookings over R4 000 requires a 50% deposit to secure the booking. The balance is due 72 hours before check.
• A Breakage deposit of R200 per cottage is required and must be paid with your booking.
• Only EFT payments are accepted.
• Exceptions for cash deposits can be made using an ATM. Die Krip Guest Farm does not accept cash on arrival.
• No cleaning service available on weekends, unless pre-arranged at an additional cost of R250 per day. The braai area will be cleaned on weekends.
Cancellations
• 25% refund of paid amounts will be refunded 0-21 days.
• 50% of the value of booking will be refunded if cancelled 21-46 days or more from the date of check in date.
• 80% of the value of booking will be refunded if cancelled 46 days or more from the date of check in date.
• Cancellations in high seasons will refund 25%-50% of your booking. Will depend on time between date of check in and notice of cancellation.
• We will happily postpone your booking if you are unable to take up your booking depending on the circumstances.
• If you can only stay one night and have booked for two, you are liable to pay the full amount of the booking value. This will apply to any confirmed bookings, and changes to the number of nights booked.
• The same policy applies for a long weekend, book for three nights and only stay one or two nights, you are still liable to pay for 3 nights.
• Postponements or transfers on bookings will carry an admin fee of R300 (per unit/booking).
• Any postponements will be valid for 6 months and will be subject to availability. Terms and conditions will apply. Postponements exclude long weekends/public holidays and school holidays. Any tariff increases will be added.
• No shows forfeit the entire booking without refund or postponement.
• Exceptions will be made in extreme circumstances (in cases of death).
